A Flock of Pelicans.
This is my entry for the Deranged Photography Contest organized by @derangedvisions
This image was captured on Moreton Island in Queensland, Australia. It is the ideal environment for wildlife to thrive with its natural, pure water supplies and rich food sources for birds and animals.
Category: Amateur.
And just for fun....... I've thrown in another version of the same photo; post digital enhancement.
THANK YOU FOR VIEWING. HAVE A GREAT DAY.
Thank you @pixresteemer
A great photo of the pelicans, Trudee. Love the edited version. 😊
Thank you Jo for your comments. Much appreciated.
The edited photo is quite wild! It’s pop art!

Thank you @phototalent for your support. Much appreciated.
Ahhh, so that's where our pelicans ventured off to... Nice images of them. The digital art makes then look a bit scary but, to a fish, I imagine they are!
We seem to have quite a few around this area.
Good luck Trudee!
I love your digital edits. You always come with something extraordinary.
Thank you Neli for your comments. Much appreciated.
Love those guys. Great shot, good luck!

Thanks very much @pardinus for your comments. Much appreciated.
Howdy Trudee! Pelicans are strange birds too but also interesting. That's a great photo of them and so is the edited version!
Thanks John for your comments, you are so encouraging. Much appreciated.
Howdy today Trudee! You are very welcome. Those birds must be so fun to watch..I don't think I've ever seen one in person but don't they fly along the surface of the water and then just dip down and scoop up fish as they're flying?
We have a lot of pelicans in our area and I love watching them and taking photos of them. They look like mini jumbo jets when they take off in the air. They dive under the water and can obviously scoop up a lot of fish in those huge bills.
howdy this fine Sunday Trudee! Oh, so they dive into the water and go completely under? For some reason I thought they just skimmed along the top and scooped up fish if they were close to the surface but seeing them dive in would be even more interesting!
