Good to hear some form of pocket savings into the piggy bank is more digital.
Also agree pocket money is earned in a variety of ways, not always related to chores, that may start hinging onto child labour... Yup you have to think we living in a PC world.
I'm not really into the straw man culture wars... We just don't do the pay for chores thing as we think it gives the wrong lesson that you do things for the reward at the end, rather than doing the right thing with no expectations.
I agree, children need good guidance, loving parents the rest follows by example. Rewarding children twist the final outcome of finding out how to do the right thing in life.
