BEWARE OF THE PATRIARCHY 👻😱

in #patriarchy5 years ago (edited)

I tend to think all ideas that spread and gain traction are tapping into something real.

Religious stories definitely do this, whether or not you take them literally.

Jesus 🌈 ✝️ is a total sicko and probably the GOAT, even if he kinda got a hero's edit.

🐐 🐐 🐐 🐐 🐐 🐐 baaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

The Social Justice Warrior Left will often talk about "patriarchy", and their specific concerns are essentially bumblefuck.

Inequality of outcome (i.e. men earning more money on average than women) doesn't necessitate that any kind of injustice has occurred.

~~~~~~this gets trippy but you have to eat your vegetables~~~~~~
The same rules and rights under the law being given to everyone is what should determine justice and equalness.
Wanting different rules to apply based on whether someone is a male or a female is what actually would be the injustice.
If I lay on the beach a lot and someone else works a lot, and they earn more money than me, no injustice against me has happened.
If I get my friend with a big hammer to smash people based on what gender or race they are, there's the injustice.
Very simple.
When a man and woman have a baby together, biologically (breast feeding, good at nurturing) it tends to make sense for the woman to focus on the child and the man to work.
It doesn't have to be that way. There's no reason to pigeonhole yourself or that she can't be the captain 😀. But if that's the choice most couples make, then it follows that men will be more focused on careers and have better results with careers.
(So just go the other way and the woman is the bread winner and the man focuses on the kids, if you want to change it.)
You can't look at a world where, for better or worse, women tend to be less committed to the workforce and then be surprised or claim it's an injustice that men in general have better results in the work force.
If men were more committed to skiing ⛷️ it wouldn't be an injustice that men have better results at skiing.
Trigger warning: there's also an IQ aspect to this.
Men and women overall have the same IQ, but it's distributed where men have more abnormally high and abnormally low outcomes, and women are concentrated more near the average.
But then payouts in the labor force are usually wonky and top-heavy.
A janitor might pay like $12/hr. The average desk job sort of thing might be like $18/hr. And high level executive, or lawyer or doctor etc, might be like $250/hr.
So being wildly high and also wildly low ends up netting more money. It nets more than 2 average outcomes, even tho that's kind of weird.
It's just an economic reality that most jobs don't have much VORP (value over replacement player), and then there's quickly a lot of VORP for various other jobs, so the pay goes up steeply.
Like I was GOAT customer rep for a poker company, but however good I was at answering emails doesn't really make or break the operation, so paying me $15/hr is prob about right.
BUT...
This too will pass. It's all just a function of scarcity.
Scarcity that we don't need to have (we're advanced asf these days), except we live under a hierarchy.
Isn't it bizarre that people would be exploring outer space when children are starving? I submit that this can only happen under a violently imposed hierarchy.
We live under the belief that it's legal and right for a small group of people to use violence to back whatever rules they'd like to impose on other people.
And so inevitably they'll create rules that favor themselves and their cohorts, and whoever gets closest to the source of power will hog more than they humanly should be able to.
And then on the ground level, we all have to use careful strategy and a lot of effort to get our share of the crumbs.
And men seem better at this cerebral plotting type of game. (A game we don't need to be playing.)
When we live in abundance, women are king.
It's not fighting anymore. Now it's about balance and who we are. It's living, growing, laughing, creating.
When we live in a freer, playful, safe, comfortable world, feminine qualities matter most and start to shine and fully express themselves.
Capacity to love, play, communicate, tolerate, listen, advise, sing, dance are the GOAT qualities.
It's not rigid like it is now.
And one thing that won't change is women are the source. Women have the most control over reproduction and how it all goes.
So the natural order of things, when we stop using violence to exert our will over others, is I think very feminine. ♀️
The hierarchy itself is the patriarchy.
So the SJWs are tapping into something real. It's very fair to have a sense of like "men have an upper hand that shouldn't be there". But the reason for that is at the root. It's because of the violently imposed hierarchy, rather than because of sexist personnel managers at Costco.
If you create a situation of war, men are more tailored to do well at war.
It's no mark against females that they aren't as suited to do well at war. That's what makes them GOAT.
If you want to rip down the patriarchy, then rip down the hierarchy.
That's it? Yup that's it.
Let's build a world that's actually a good climate for females.
Honor them.
No more half-measures, tsk tsk
Resteemed!
Thanks man. Glad you liked, and thanks for the resteem!!
If you want to rip down the patriarchy, then rip down the hierarchy.
Sounds like someone has been listening to Jordan Peterson. Good stuff.
Btw, after the first paragraph or two, I kept looking for the word GOAT, lol. I was impressed you slid it in so well and so often. 😄
Haha! 😄
Hey Lydon!
Sounds like someone has been listening to Jordan Peterson.
I haven't been actually! Does he same this same stuff?
I didn't doubt it was wrong but that's a strong agreement.
I've heard Jordan Petersen once or twice, and think he's sick. Haven't heard him talk about patriarchy and how it links to the political system etc.
I've heard stuff about IQ distribution before but forget if it was him hehe
Haha, hello my friend!
Here is a short clip for you.
He's just the sickest
