Pay it forward is a weekly event aimed at sending a bit of extra encouragement to newer members of the community. Steemit can be a bit overwhelming at times especially for those who are just starting out. The beauty of the project is anyone can join in. A while back I featured @jbreheny who I met in @thehive community. I am still following that adventure. The whole family has moved into an RV to travel and experience America on the road.
Being fascinated by the nomadic lifestyle I also follow his wife. I must say I truly enjoy reading the story from both perspectives.
They have had some issues with internet connection recently but @juliabreheny did manage to share with us a story from her family. This just shows you can miss out on all kinds of fun when you give up living in a proper house.

I stumbled across @delishtreats and was drawn instantly in by the cover photos. I admit to not being very interested in food blogs. I do however greatly enjoy armchair travel. I was just blown away by how @delishtreats presents each location with multiple images as well as interesting facts and a few useful travel tips thrown in as well.
I am still over there reading backward through the posts. The photography contest posts with a food theme make for great eye candy while scrolling through. I wish some of those included recipes.

Plan on doing week 10. But our internet crashed for almost a week and now it's threatening again. It's one of the downsides of homesteading
I can relate to that. Mine gets a bit unpredictable at times. The electricity can be sketchy in bad weather.

Honestly I am kind of hoping someone who knows about these things will pop in and explain. Much of Steemit is still a mystery to me. That one left me scratching my head.

Yes, I could not agree more. But, I see more complaints (thanks God it wasn't her), not on steemit, they address the complaint to Facebook, hahahaha... They're not lucky enough to find people like those who's involved in payitforward contest
