RE: PHC Top 3 Monthly Contest 📺June📺: Childhood TV Series Evoking Memories

Awesome selection @joanstewart

I am familiar with nearly all of these choices. Your son are the same sort of age as my brother. I remember there being Knight Rider, Airwolf and Street Hawk all of a similar ilk. All very cool. Knight Rider was my fave of those.

The simpsons is class. So funny but with genius writing and subtle, and not so subtle, hints at political farcity and other topical stuff.

V was great from what I remember. It was a little intense and maybe not so much a kids show but very cool nonetheless.

MacGyver is the only one I never watched for some reason although I was aware of it.

The A-Team was classic Saturday afternoon viewing for me. Loads of action and funny stuff. BA was cool. It was cheesy as hell but as kids we didn't really see that. It was hilarious that nobody got hurt no matter what they got up to. Car accident, rolling down the road for thirty seconds but everyone climbs out without a scratch! Awesome.

Tell your sons that they have done a great job.

Gaz

Sort:

I will be sure to let them know Gaz, they were having a great time going down memory lane. Simpson's was something they still watch from time to time, always enjoyed the humour.

V must have struck a cord with them, both still love Sci-Fi movies.

I remember them watching dinosaurs, ninja turtles and some other more sedate shows, this is their list of hits, was fun doing it with them.

That's so cool.

I loved The Dinosaurs. So funny. Talking of funny I loved A.L.F too. Pushing the boundaries of a kids show. Absolutely hilarious and I'm sure I remember Alf swigging beer and burping!

Alf was great, loved the hairdo and silly antics.
