good job my freind @art.life

I just cant do any of that. I prefer to live in Chaos... That's all I know!

I'm usually artistically messy (lol), but too much chaos irritates and distracts me, so I resort to tidying when I want to take a break from sth or just procrastinate. 😄

I should try meditation once in a while. Thanks for the video!

I suggest you try Headspace or Michael Sealey's guided meditations - he guides you through the most beautiful sceneries of your own imagination. 😊

oooh cool. I'll let you know if I do eventually do that! Paldies.

Good on you for spread this message :) Meditation is so much more than the time we spend cross legged, with eyes closed, watching the breath. If we can pull this mindfulness you speak of into every waking moment of our lives we are able to recognize the mind and its constant wandering and begin to get it more into control. Cheers :)

Totally! 😊
And it doesn't necessarily require incense, gongs in the background and chanting Om.

Far from it! If we always rely on these totems you describe in your comment we will never be able to have a positive relationship with our thoughts outside of using these tools. Once meditation makes its way into every waking moment we have truly achieved something on another level :) Thanks for making me think and reminding me to stop rushing around so much. Tomorrow I think I will follow in your footsteps and make a little video about mindfulness. Cheers!

Glad to hear that! Can't wait to see your video! 😊

Thoughts are like clouds. Sometimes they roll in softly and other times they blow in quickly, but you have control over them with your conscious mind. Whether you're meditating or not you can practice saying "clear" if a thought comes in that you don't want. At first, you may be saying clear a lot, but you don't want to use terms like block, erase or anything that would inhibit your thoughts capacity to present ideas, so you just want to clear the ones you don't want.

If you don't have time to meditate during the day then try just before bed. The idea here is to clear your mind completely. No images, no scenes, that's a different type of meditation and you're most likely wanting to go to sleep. So, use "clear" until your mind is trained to slowly bring in thoughts that you can control better. Also, if you're doing this before bed tells yourself "relax" softly in your mind or "calm". Repeat these softly to yourself.

Now if you want to do standard meditations that's a different discussion.

This is a great tip!
I actually tried this yesterday before sleep, the word clear also associates with a clearing (somehow it made me imagine that), and that scene effectively replaced any stream of worries and future plans, etc.

Btw, sending "a command" to your mind really helps, tried and tested!
Thanks!

Oh man. School was super stressful for me. Until I went to film and photography school. I loved it. I know the feeling though! You'll get through it! Mind over matter :) mind over matter :)

Thank you, I hope so :)
Great! That's why it's important to study something you have keen interest in!

Meditation really helps. I have recently joined a meditation proggram named HEATFULNESS and it really works. Now my concentration ability is much better than before all stress is gone and I feel relaxed all day, no more bad dreams and many more benefits I have started to get. I suggest each and every one to try it once.

I read "Medication really helps", lol thats funny! 😇

That's really great to hear that meditation has helped you in such a way! :))

Have fun with the paper creation Kate and I will try not to forget to meditate! /FF

Thanks! It is much easier to do something when you find joy in it. It isn't like the best thing you could ever devote your time to, but I know that there will always be those little eureka moments and they are enough to keep me going. 💪🏼

True - And from time to time, remember that you breathe and exist, and that itself is something to feel happy about! 👍
