Why they created it - I don’t really know.
But one thing I am aware of is that spiritual seekers do go to these temples and sit for months in front of erotic sculptures like the one above until they stopped feeling sexually aroused with the aim of mastering their sex drive.

I’m not trying to poop on anyone but if you have no control over your sex drive you’re not going to get much from this life because the sexual energy is powerful enough to make you a total slave to the mind, a loser.
What is transmutation?
Okay I’ll make this as simple as possible, transmutation is the change of one substance or form into another.
What is sexual transmutation?
Sexual transmutation is the conversion of your raw sexual energy into unstoppable motivation and unlimited prosperity. In other words, it means converting your sexual energy and thoughts from the physical expression to energy and thoughts of another expression, usually creative.

This is a knowledge I gained years ago and it made me go mad and curious but I wasn’t so surprised though cause I’ve always known that the sex urge is the most powerful force in the world. This is the force that made well respected men forget about their big reputation, it’s insane how crazy this force is.
Many will agree that sometimes this force is so strong we are literally willing to die, cause harm or risk imprisonment to fulfil them. Now just Imagine if we could harness this energy and use it for better motives?

The thing is sometimes you have to take it to that state of ecstasy where there is true flow of soul between the two energies coming in contact - it don’t have to be just for the pleasure everytime. But obviously that’s what most people care about.
It’s nothing new that over-involvement in drinking and doing drugs leads to a ruined life but it’s just uncommon for people to understand the fact that over-involvement in sex CAN lead to the same thing. I mean pleasure has blinded the eyes of man that he sees not what is behind things, he sees not the true nature of things and phenomena.
Let that sexual energy build up inside of you.
Don’t go around putting that energy recklessly. The flesh, the low nature of man is truly a hard one to beat. But Having high sexual energy and not going in to any and all desires is the key to success.

Just my perspective. Seeking alone implies lack, for we only seek when we don't feel like having "it" already.
As to alcohol, for me it is quite difficult to believe that someone really drinks it for the taste. Sure, we all perceive things different with our senses, but personally I don't like the taste at all. Not to even speak of the noxious effects. I almost only drink water, yet should I ever choose something else it will never be alcohol. Same applies to all those other addictions.
Yes I agree with you, seeking implies lack. But I might not exactly get your view, to be sure it’s the same with mine, can you expand on that?
I agree, there is no doubt that when people are driven by their sexual urges, they can mistakes capable of destroying their lives.
But we all must agree that controlling our sexual energy is not something easy to do, it is a force of nature.
The most complicate thing in my opinion is not realizing this, but rather going from our acceptance of this fact, to the real life application. I am sure this must take months and even years for people to really take control of this energy.

It might not necessarily take a long time to take control of the energy, I’d rather say anyone with an already good amount of will power can master it, any energy in general
