Before Bridges
This old road was built over some steep rocky terrain back in the nineteen thirty's by the civil conservation corps, called the C.C.C. It leads to a wet crossing through Oak Creek called Chauvez crossing. This was before any bridges were built and the population was mostly made up of farmers and ranchers.

Hi @irvinesimages ,the terrain looks arid, the sky with its blue color makes it see a nice contrast, softening the colors of the earth that needs moisture, but nature remains, shrubs continue to grow.

Hi Martha, Our rivers and creeks are also called riparian zones because the plant and animal life is different than that of the dryer surroundings. This does show a stark contrast between the two, and gives us an area of relief. Have a great week.

I'm so glad you like it, being shot on fuji velvia the colors were kinda wild highly saturated and I had a difficult time editing the image. But it came out nice. Thank you.

Whoa... That's a really nice shot! It feels sorta like a dreamworld with those pastel colors and the way it draws in. Also, I rarely say this and I mean it in a good way, it looks kinda like candy! Very beautiful. Congrats on the curie as well.
