Hi @irvinesimages ,the terrain looks arid, the sky with its blue color makes it see a nice contrast, softening the colors of the earth that needs moisture, but nature remains, shrubs continue to grow.

Hi Martha, Our rivers and creeks are also called riparian zones because the plant and animal life is different than that of the dryer surroundings. This does show a stark contrast between the two, and gives us an area of relief. Have a great week.
