Sullivan Lake Washington
S U L L I V A N L A K E
A few days ago I shared a photo of Sullivan Lake, Washington and as I was looking through the photos on my website I found this set of photos showing the same lake and surrounding area. The lake is nestled in the mountains of Northeast Washington with the nearest town being Metaline Falls about 7 1/2 miles from the north end of the lake. It is 21 miles south of the Canadian border with little in between except wilderness area.
The mountains and wilderness areas around Sullivan Lake are often very quiet and empty compared to the more popular Priest Lake directly on the other side of the mountains to the east and in Idaho. I hope you enjoyed this post and make sure to get outside and enjoy nature every chance you get!

I can really feel the fresh air and the silence
Thank you! There was a lot of both fresh air and silence the morning I took the photos. One of my favorite places for sure.
That would be one of my favorite places, too. The view is really fabulous.
Dude! Super cool. Really like that last image. So amazing. :)
Thanks! It's a beautiful one for sure and has been one of my favorites for a while. It felt like I was the only person up there for miles around the morning I shot that. I also remember freezing my fingers off in the sub-freezing weather. :)
