I actually did a 'holy shit!' reaction when I saw your blog heading. I often say to myself, when shit is getting to me - Illegitimus non carborundum. An OLD friend told me that when I was frustrated once, quite a while ago. It has stuck ever since and I couldn't believe when I saw so close to that in your heading! 😮
It messed my noodle! Lol
So.... kick the bastards out of your head for the night and enjoy some wine... and maybe a little fun chat with some unrelated people on the friendly Steemit channel! 😂
And only because I'm a gentleman and would never let you drink alone... I'll have a drink with you too. 😉

It’s one of my favorite sayings ☺️ Most people have no idea what it means so I’m happy at least one person gets it!! I find it the perfect combination of insightful and just spunky enough to make you smile as it encourages and empowers you. Maybe it’s because I’m a stubborn ass but it also sort of makes my inner monologue go - don’t let them win. Don’t let them change you, don’t let them discourage you etc.
It’s really quite perfect for all situations 😄
And yes thanks for keeping me company on the Steemit channel 😂 I’m going to refer it that way from now on..

Taking pictures of yourself has to be hard. I hate ALL pictures I'm in. 😂 To post any must take a lot of strength. I'd be willing to bet, even the ones you hate, most of us would like. You just have a soft gentleness. I'm learning quickly there is a brain and a fire in there too. That doesn't affect the pictures at all. In fact, you have become much more interesting.

Self portraits are definitely challenging. From a technical aspect I think they help me grow as a photographer though (which is why I started them initially). You have to really be able to see the big picture in a way and trying to be the photographer as well as the subject I think pushes you.. and therefore makes you stronger.
As far as posting them 😄 well yes that has taken some time to get used to.. and I’m still not completely “comfortable” with it. I just push the publish button and try not to look back. Honestly the whole idea is to push myself out of my comfort level and help sort of embrace the experiment which will hopefully lead to more confidence as well as less fear for doing things out of my comfort level. That is the idea anyways.

Haha, That is a scary thing about media on the blockchain. Once it's out there, it's public and permanent. You can't 'undo' or 'delete' it.
I'm not nearly at your level of exposure but even I get a little hesitant once in a while when hitting 'Post' even on a comment!
I can just imagine the tension in your finger as you wonder, just before you say "ah hell, there it is" and hit 'Publish'! 😆
I don't think you're human if you don't worry, at least a little, about what other people are going to think.
As far as the concern... If you are hiding that you are actually an ax murderer, then ya... a little concern... for BOTH of us! 😂
Otherwise, you're likely all good. I know we're all humans. Hey, what one person might be embarrassed of about themselves, another person might find adorable. You never know!

I read your title too fast and opened the post and read dick instead of drink and I was like dam this is brazen I gotta check it out lol!
I get like that too sometimes like I just run out of nice cards to hand out and grit my teeth trying to avoid saying something I’d regret until I can get home and just take my jeans off and lay my bed and be like finally peace and quiet
A whiskey does help or 2 so totally get your vibes! I just think there are too many energy vampires in this world and we allow ourselves to get sucked dry sometimes

Energy vampires is a pretty good word for it. Always better when you can spot them and avoid at all costs.
