198TorHeres a handful of shots i took today at Ludlow Castle. The majority included my kids, of which i wont bore you with.. A Samsung S7 was my weapon of choice today, as carrying rucksacks full of sandwiches, juice and change of clothes for the inevitable tumble into a mucky puddle or stream took precedent over the DSLR and lenses today. The castle dates back to the 11th century and was one of the first stone fortifications in England. If you ever find yourself in Shropshire, i highly recommend Ludlow.

Ive no idea where in the world you are. If you are from outside of the UK then im sure you have the common and internationally shared, preconceived image of a quintessential rural village/town in Britain looks like. The postcard picture type if you will.
Clee Hills surround the town and the scenery is truly beautiful.

I am in Florida, which is only a short distance away from there :)
Personally, I would rather visit rural villages/towns with scenery than large cities with air and noise pollution. It 's just me. Thank again!
