Market cats. Art - to the masses. My market Friday.
The residents of our city for cats special treatment.They saved the hungry dying city from a terrible invasion of rats, who tried to destroy those meager food supplies, which with great risk and great difficulty delivered to the besieged besieged city of Leningrad.Such memory and gratitude lives in the hearts of St. Petersburg residents to this day. And these cats are worthy of love and respect.
"Petersburg cats" have already become an independent cultural layer. Many artists and sculptors gained their fame thanks to these fluffy and tailed characters. Of course, such Souvenirs with images of these lovely creatures are very popular. These Souvenirs with images of cats always cause a smile and charge with optimism.
Sometimes it is difficult to pass by and not to buy another such small figure for my home collection. Well, at home I'm waiting for real cats, who are also ready to give a lot of joy and positive. I'll see you soon...

This was so adorable with the cute cat figurines! I love that they still regard them with a fondness for their wonderful service in a time of need!
I grew up on the water and I really understand that without proper "cat patrol" on the waterfront, the place can get overrun by rats.

Your grey kitty is surely so pretty and has the usual carefree, don't bother me look, you are boring me! LOL I would imagine collecting porcelain cats would be a great way, or creating them if you are talented in that way.

А этого , что на фотографии как звать?
Её зовут Смоуки, но это по цвету шерсти а от слова смокинг. Дело в том что её окраска впереди напоминает по форме полы смокинга. Немного сложно :) , но всё же ...
