FOLLOW THE LEADER

Lao Tzu who lived in the 6th century B.C, was the founder of the Chinese philosophical ‘School of the Tao’ or ‘Taoism’. He was known to be a contemporary of the great and the most revered Chinese teacher and philosopher ‘Confucius’, but some legends believe that they both were same person. The origin and life of Lao Tzu is extremely ambiguous and even after centuries of research very little is known about his life. Nevertheless, his teachings have been handed down through centuries and today his followers are manifold.
Lao Tzu worked as a ‘shi’ or historian at the royal court. After getting fed up with the fake and emptiness of life in the royal entourage he decide to live everything behind and embarked on a voyage to the west. He traveled to the Xiangu pass to enter the state of Qin. The guardian of the pass Yinxi insisted that the philosopher should write a book before living. He did so, writing the ‘Daodejing’, which is the combination of ‘Dao’, which means, ‘way’ and ‘de’ ‘its virtue’. It is a philosophical account and can be literally translated as ‘Classic of the Way of Power’. Following the completion of the book, the wise old man left Xiangu pass, and nothing was known about his whereabouts, thereafter.
Lao Tzu is a whistle-blower. He is someone who asked himself what he was really doing. He turned himself away from the world and as an outsider he suddenly saw that all his fellow men are occupied by their daydreams. Caught up in their own head-trips they follow leaders that don’t know better than they themselves do, stuck silly traditions and habits, talking about nothing, ruled by fear, not knowing who they are, anxious about everything and nothing. They are slaughtering each other, attached to their possessions, locked up in their houses, villages, cities, states; involved in labor and day-to-day routines, and last but not least, they accept all this. Lao Tzu incites us to free ourselves from these chains, to stop the nonsense that weary ourselves. He dare us not to trust flattery from others anymore, not to follow the leaders anymore and to just enjoy life.}

HAT TRICK

Then put the rabbit in a makeshift sack in which you would attach the hook under the table that will be in front of you during a performance.
Sheet should be set so as it can not to be seen with the bag rabbit.
At the beginning of your performance, show the hat to the audience in order to prove that there is nothing in it.
Next, put the hat on the table, with its opening on the surface of the table.
Now comes the most important part of the trick. With the help of simple hand movements, lift the hat quickly and insert the bag into it.
To drag the attention of the audience, get moving around the table in order to show that not doing anything suspicious and then go back, take your hat in your hands and show them the rabbit.}

Genesis

We stayed in contact from time to time, and just recently, I went again to DeviantArt to see what he was up to.
Already back in April 2013, frustrated with peeps ripping off his photos, he posted this Journal Entry saying sarcastically "Everything in my account is for free" - and here is the kicker: there were actually peeps so dense they took it seriously and profusely thanked him (you can read some of the comments in the link I provided).

He is a very talented, prolific and inventive photographer - and I only scratch the surface with some of the work I present here. To see his work, go to DeviantArt - AHERMIN.

Currently working in Israel as a Quality Assurance Manager at Solcon Industries LTD. - previously as Regulatory Affairs Manager at Harmonic and at GE Healthcare (Six Sigma Black Belt). He studied at the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest, Romania. He speaks English, Hebrew, French, Romanian and Russian.
