A certain man had the good fortune to possess a goose that laid a golden egg every day.
But dissatisfied with so slow an income, and thinking to seize the whole treasure at once, he killed the goose...

I love this fable. Greed is terrible. One gold egg a day should have been enough for living a comfortable life. His greed killed his wealth.

I think in Germany everybody knows this fable. But only a few people learn from it ✌️
Its a bit like steemit, look after the Goose well and every day we get golden eggs layed for us all ❤

This is such an important message wrapped in an impressive tale! I hope a lot of greedy people will learn the lesson, just like the man did when cutting the goose.
