crossing the rubicon...
today, as we're slowly crossing the Rubicon
i am just enjoying these sunny last days
of twenty first century leasure and fun
right before the northern hemisphere blaze
reality just being the latest fiction
as usual no proof needed or supplied
tit for tat just adding to the friction
in this game between axis and allied
remember? not a single diplomat got expelled
when twohundred ninety eight died in the sky
now for one spy they all feel so compelled
and the corps diplomatique are sent to fly
government is replaced by the word 'regime'
the propaganda is revealed by a proper gander
clear like glass so invisble it may seem
hiding dreams like that of great alexander
this, again, is a pre-meditated cold war
and it could go very hot in just a flash
glimpses of mahabharata through the door
where great civilizations turned to ash
cui bono? that means: who will it benefit?
some Malthusian psychopath, or me and you?
who pays the price for these plays of shit?
a game to make money being used as a coup
now that Russiagate has slowly fizzled out
have they ever come up with any real proof?
trying to bring onto Russia all their clout
just push, keep pushing and topple the roof
'jus cogens' only important when it's them
and the double standards still reign supreme
in the central lands as well as on the hem
of world domination vividly they all dream
for how much longer can and will we be idle
will we keep believing their obvious lies
in my opinion humanity just being suicidal
while i wait for mushroom clouds in the skies
while i have paid the ferryman so many years ago
still i'm not wanting to see this world go down
it's psychopath gangsters who love to see it glow
willing to destroy us all so they can wear a crown

It is a very dubious situation and I think you've summed it up perfectly. Just another round of charged rhetoric now that everyone's forgotten the USA and NK and Trump's started a trade war with China...
As a follower of the situation with an interest, do you see it amounting to anything?

Thanks for your reply and upvote! Yes, the US has a dying empire smell all over it and they know it. The only thing they can do is make a desperate grab for the world, which will result in some serious shit for all of us on the Nothern Hemisphere... If I could I would be out of here tomorrow, but sadly I am skint. I even have a great place to go to, I am hoping a chance will come for me soon. I hope it will be on time...
