Line placement elevates this already superb piece. I will have to learn how to do this in markdown. A lot of wonderful phrasing, but I really like that 'whirlpool of burnished chagrin'. Your mind is turned on, no doubt about that.

Thanks for the kind words on this one @prydefoltz. To create this placement in markdown, you will first center text using the <center> tag. Then, on each line, you will place the following formula to the left or right of the text: &nbsp; as many times as spaces you want to shift it. It only moves a tiny bit so at times 30 or 40 of them will need to be pasted! If you put it on the right of the text, it will shift it left, and vice versa. It's pretty inconvenient, but to my knowledge, there is no easier way to do this in markdown (although I could be wrong!)
