Found Out

Found Out

Standing upon the hill alone he screamed where are you
A broken mind and heart
All that came was an echo back, you, you, be you
No more from the start

Falling to knee, hands and feet in dust and muck
Tears fell to to evaporate
Neither here nor there or anywhere, in life stuck
In mind but not mental state

Answer arrives but none will know for answer is unseen
Caught in the trap of man
Over shoulder, looking ahead but, where it has always been
Unfound in any brand

No matter question, no matter search none will truly find
No matter the words they spin
No matter how forward they think or how far they look behind
All answers are within.

No matter how forward they think or how far they look behind
All answers are within.

This reminds me of a book written by Paulo Coehlo, The Alchemist. A shepherd boy leaves his small home in Andalucia to the Egyptian pyramid in pursuit of a treasure in a dream he had only to find that his treasure was within him all along.
Thanks for the reminder, beautiful poetry again my friend

I have never read it but it seems many like it. I don't read much though perhaps I should.

You dont read much??? Wow, how did you get so versatile with writing

Cast your gaze within,
for there you will find a great treasure.
Seeking answers from without is costly,
it drowns out infinite wisdom,
wisdom that comes from the quiet whispers of your true self,
the true self that lives within.

Wow, taraz poetery tryings. This is great. I think this should be the first time you are putting up a peotry post and you dis just great with this.

I didn't quite understand the poem even after reading it like twice but I think that's the beauty therein. Good peoms are not for the shalow minded. I take a bow!

I have written a few dozen poems here in the last 6 months. I am just not so great at it. If you want good poetry:

Thanks @tarazkp😂 I am not in @yahialababidi's class yet. Working on it though.

Many thanks, dear @tarazkp, for the honorable mention! As I might have mentioned to you before, I admire your range as a writer. Not only your ability to speak, articulately, on a wide range of subjects, but also the different forms you choose to express yourself in: fiction, poetry & prose.

Thanks, too, @warpedpoetic for your gracious encouragement. I wish you continued success, honing your craft. It takes (a life)time! _/|\_

(PS - Sorry it's taken me this long to reply, I've been having trouble all morning logging on to Steemit!)

Same here. It took me quite a while to get this comment posted.

Yeah the growth never stops. I hope one day i find a Nobel, eh? 😂 That would be cool.

Wow, a Nobel, huh? And, why not; with talent and hard work, everything is possible!

Nice philosophy speaking the truth. Everything is within, but we keep searching in the wrong places. We need to know ourselves and meditate to listen. There is nothing to be found outside and nothing can help us understand this life. We should look at ourselves first before we look around. Believe in ourselves before we believe in others. Trust ourselves, before we trust others and love ourselves before we love others.

"No matter how forward they think or how far they look behind
All answers are within"

Reminded me of something personal. This is beautiful @Tarazkp, I should call you the man of many talents

Generally just 'man of many words'. Talent is something else than this.

¡All answers are within! }:).......................(:{

Good work bud. Many a treasure to be found within before setting out.

This is beautiful embedded with series of poetic devices such a power imagery employed; auditory the imagery of sound, echoes

All that came was an echo back, you, you, be you

So also repetition of some word such as no matter which is called anaphora and the rhyme scheme of abab gives more meaning to the message of the poem. This poem is emotional as the poet personae same to be lost in deep thought of a particular friend.

Answer arrives but none will know for answer is unseen

Wow this line seems paradoxical, and however it's quite the fact when we look at the deep meanings, your poem is totally amazing, I never knew you can write poetry, I've been writing poems for a while, I've got many in my blog, is this your first time?

No, I have written many here although I can understand why you ask if it is my first time. I am not a poet.

Amazing lines of poetry
