RE: Unpreparedness: A perfectly legitimate state of being for today's modern victim

in #prepping6 years ago

G'day mate. Well, I just had a great laugh as you are so right. The ones that really get me are the ones saying the government will provide and look after us when in fact the governments are at the moment the ones causing all these issues with their lack of empathy toward their own taxpayers, hence allowing the overcrowding of countries with strangers that really don't fit in and have no plan to, but are invading homes, destroying businesses, causing personal harm and will damage economies to the point of decay where fights for the very basics will irrupt.

Like the use of the UN as in my mind the UN stopped being of use a long time ago when they decided that some people have less rights than others and it seems they feel that those who toil, contribute and progress are worth less than the ones they force us to support despite the acts of aggression they perpetrate on the ones that do.

Pardon me if I get shitty about this, but hey, shit needs to get said. Chance favours the prepared and I would rather be the one who has and not need that the one who needs without having and that takes work.

Good one mate, have a great day

Thanks Pete, I agree with you of course. There are many examples around the world where the unexpected happened and the unprepared become the first victims. @khufu makes the example of Serbia and Bosnia in a comment on this post.

Most people think shit like that could never happen here, just like people in Serbia and Bosnia did before the SHTF. I've read a few stories from people who survived wars and natural disasters etc and it's a real eye opener, most people will be seriously unprepared if something serious goes down.

Amen brother, nothing worse than the feeling of "oh fuck what now" and realising that you snoosed and am now at the mercy of the merciless
