I think MS has changed a lot over the years. I would not be so worrying, sure they might integrate azure very closely with github but that is not the worst idea.
I agree. I think there's hope for them yet :)
But I couldn't resist playing on the negative sentiment creatively, so I submitted these two gifs as entries to a Gitcoin GIF competition where one of the themes was the Github acquisiton by Microsoft:
