Connection is not automatic, it is built with time. Some call it chemistry but you call it connection. People connect at different levels in a relationship and that's what binds them together, it could be sexual connection, same career or same dream etcetera but the most important thing is that this connection is built on the bedrock of communication and spending time together. Couples can't connect when one person is always building a barricade to communication or almost never available.

Have you ever wondered why two people locked up in a room for a long time ends up building some chemistry? That couples connect doesn't denote a lasting relationship. There are several other attributes that are necessary for a relationship to last and one major which is ability to resolve conflicts when it arises, understanding your partner and always making them know how much they are valued amidst others.

To me as a person, communication is of utmost important because that's my best way of understanding you and you understanding me. No one is perfect, we learn everyday.

Connection based on looks and material possessions are just plain infatuation.
