Is Magic Dice really a Scam?
Hmmm - am confused a bit - site down and all comments / posts are flagged to invisibility by an account I trust. Also some person seem to have inside knowledge there and a relation to the Steemian with the all-time ever highest reputation on Steemit - brings me to the questions:
Is MagicDice = @Haejin = @powerguy?
Hope the mystery is solved soon as I have some delegation with them - anyone here that has inside information? As a side note - I would not be surprised by any potential relation and scam theory.
This space is fragile when it comes to trust. So any dapp owner has to be alert to any disruption of services and issue the statement immediately but that is not the case with @magicdice for last one day. So your interpretation could be true. Let us wait for a day or two before we call it a scam..
Yep-lets wait and see-i still get tokens for my delegation und some are playing right now- may it is only a technical problem, but if its like that, a clear post from the "magicdice-team" for the investors in the next 24 h would be fine in my opinion! Best regards!
Agreed - was just referring to some strange points of analysis - if the site works properly with all required / agreed payments not important who is doing what behind any curtains.
Maybe we know more tomorrow, either the site works again or I see some flags on my post and we can then try to draw conclusions lol.
You definitly do not deserve any flags- it is just due to some important questions, which are normal for investors in the magicdice-system right now!
You and others saw some dysfunction in this system in the last 24 h, so hopefully it will be solved.
It is our steem we delegated to this system, and was our steem we played with, as we rolled the dice.
so we should get some clear answers soon!

Thanks @balte - and you are right if we take it from the side of a usual thinking human, flags are not always used by "proof of brain" but sometimes "proof of inability to control emotions...." :-) - but this is how the system is designed right now.
Yep- i know that- and i can deal with it-but i dont like it!
But i cannot change it, of course, so i have to deal with it!
But thats also why i do not use the flag-option in this system, and i hope, we can manage that in the D-A-CH-community in some other way!

The token payment is down since more than 24 hours... If this is really a technical problem or bugs, they should have issued a statement after some hours. I have stopped playing because I noticed that the system was always lagging as if it was waiting what my bets were... I always lose the game even if my bets were under 90 and over 10...
I got notices from @abusereports about the account @powerguy and it said no good things about this account owner.. I am not sure whether you also received such reports/comments.
I feel really bad about people who delegated, but the delegation can be cancelled like a normal delegation right?
It's also very fishy how the wagered token amount was sliced way too quickly imo. I haven't looked far into it but as we know since whoever we got addicted to crypto that it's scammers paradise out here, and open source has more downs than ups 🙁
Will keep up on checking with this though as I have a fair few magic.
My advice is to keep trying to get on and quickly claim the divs 😂 managed it today once lol

Yes, that’s the beauty of Steem. You can have vested interests, but those vested interests can also be claimed back.

I don't see any reason for an exit scam. They were making a lot of money, so why would they stop now? But who knows, a lot of projects in this crypto world are still strange.
It's unprofessional not to give any response.
Playing still works and magicdice is still giving upvotes to their players. Just the site's not working.. let's see what happens.

Isn’t that the whole point of exit scams? To fun off as soon as you have made enough money, and before people realizing that there is no more utility coming.

But they payed the dividends till now, thats for sure.
