Silent cry:-This has to do with emotions and mental unbalanced in human. Which can eventually leads to emotional pain and distress.

What Makes A Minnows Cry?

What am about to share may look simple, but it makes a lot of minnows share silent tears. Day by day i keep on receiving whatsapp messages from newbies and minnows like myself begging me for upvote or exchange of upvote. Most time i look at myself, after receiving such a message. Am just a minnow like them too with just 61+ steem power! Yeah very poor because it can only give $0.03 at 100% up. I think the 51 reputation makes them feel i have arrived at steemit. Reputation is just a number,it shows how influential you are on steemit, please newbies never let that freak you. Steempower is what matter most.

Most minnows and newbies weep and share silent tears in secret after much work and research on their post and seeing junk post earning high pay. After much dedication and research without corresponding action of it on their post. Most minnows keep on refreshing their steemit blog after dropping their post praying for a miracle to happen on their post.

Steemit as a platform has actually save many from penury and adject poverty. Most people have seen it as a platform to make some bucks. Other people have given up their jobs totally giving steemit the total attention it need. The problem faced by both newbies and minnows is the fact that the price to achieve their goals keep getting high day by day as new members keep on joining the platform. It has given room for competition and professionalism on the platform.

Let say as at last year there are 50 artistes on steemit, bynow i believe the number should have increased to about double of that number because steemit as a whole keeps on growing in various countries and states all over the globe. Getting updated learning new things and improving is just the way out or else you will soon get outdated over time. Steemit as a platform is large enough and creating room for others to join and display their talent in different ways. All thanks to the steemitivangelist poeple like @destinysaid, @stach, @ewuoso, @greenrun, @greatness, @ejemai, @ehiboss etc. Many people are creating different platform and group to guide their members. This has make the work of curation difficult and tedious because of too many post to curate a day. Everybody is creating post here and there because we all want to earn. Everyone want @curie, @sndbo, @onequality @steemsteem and whales like @ned, @steelabelle @jerrybanfield @donkeypong, @officialfuzzy, @larryphang, @surpassinggoogle etc to upvote their post.

Some weeks ago, i read @surpassinggoogle post encouraging every steemians to convert their sbd into steem and from there power it up into steem power. Yes this is a good advice i most say but very difficult to do as a minnows. For example after creating a good post and at the end earning just $10 after the oayout. 25% will go to those who upvote the post leaving you with 75% which will have to undergo division between steem power and sbd. It is very, I mean very rare to find a minnow that allow 100% payout as steem power, because most minnows out there take steemit as a source of livelihood. This makes the minnows cry. They keep on growing having big reputation but low steem power.

Most question ask by minnows is, How can I get @curie upvote?To whom can I send my link for curation or who are the @curie curators? Many have joined different groups just to get people who know the whales on steemit. Inability to get the proper or the right answer makes the minnows cry. Why is this upvote not distributed to all equally. To some they believed their is a secret behind steemit or their is a group where the whales belongs

Most steemian have resolved their faith into finding people of like mind. Most people make themselves a group and contribute steem or sbd to lease steem power from boosters,so as to get high earning. I read someone comment on a post, spending about 30sbd to promote his post. Hmm! That is high and risky, although he was able to get what he wanted. Most people have spend a lot of steem and sbd on resteem bot and upvote bot so as their post to get more view but at the end it was not a laughing matter.

I have seen a lot of junk post getting about $20-$50 pay while good content post hardly get $2 pay and with many view, meaning minnows don't like upvoting each other. This makes the minnows to cry! Everyone is out there searching for whales and dopline post to make good comments so as to get attraction. It's now the survival of the fittest.

Will it continue like this? The minnows are in silent pain.

I keep on hearing hard work and patience will make your post known by whales someday. Yes but many never wants to wait for that time. And the truth of the matter is that what works for mr "A" may never work out for Mr "B".

Yes of a truth, on steemit we have many curators who curate good content post which meet up with their standard. Like the @curie curators, @ocidyo, @ocd and others, but the great inflow of junks post make it difficult at times to locate good post. And most often two many good post at times drain voting power to upvote post. This makes the minnows cry.

Many more steemians will keep on coming into the platform, which is good, but what can be done to resolve the present cry and the problem faced by good post earning less. The inflow of junks post getting more view and high pay most stop, because steemit is not a dumping ground. Steemit is now how good you are in networking and making new friends, engaging people to always come back for more on your blog.

can I call this greed, or been fair. Most group or bots created by most steemians is only use to upvote their members post and nothing more. In as much you are a member you are entitled to get an upvote from the bot or a member of their trail. Where is now the unity and love. I keep on saying it this are making the minnows to cry. What can be done.

Most people are going into creating contest for steemians. Yes most especially for the minnows to compete for the reward. Good idea, but the issue of using the highest number of upvote to judge is what makes it unfair. For example in a writing contest, how can the user with the highest upvote be the winner. For God sake this is a writing contest. I think it should be based of grammar, spelling, composition, mechanical accuracy and the use of good markdown style . Different contest as the case may be, should have different criterias for it and not based on number of upvote. I think that should be corrected. This is just a tip of the eyes bug.

To be continued tomorrow. Let all minnows resteem this post until it gets to the right place and to the right people. We the minnows are the most populated steemians on steemit. Together we can achieve our goals so let stick together as one.
