Ah well I jumped the gun so to speak, although I did very nearly burn my roast of Yemen Mocha Matari coffee (It's £30 a kilo so that would have been an expensive roast to ruin!) when I saw I had been unvoted by @soyrosa - then I checked and saw you had unvoted all Witnesses and felt much better. Does that make me bad though? I took comfort in not being the only one.
I think many people are getting a little frazzled with Steem right now, I know @robertandrew started feeling he just needed to take a break from the constant demands of creating content and replying to posts.
It is really important people constantly assess and reposition Witness votes to suit their own requirements and needs - although I feel the situation of voting is a bit of a lost cause when you see @utopian-io still at position 32 even though very publicly stating they were no longer running a Witness some 45 days ago. Indeed the top 100 is littered with long deactivated Witnesses still holding rank - often because significant Steem Power holders have not taken enough interest to see they are inactive and unvoted them. It's not a very good advertisement to the masses to vote Witnesses when some of Steems biggest holders are entirely disinterested.
OMG - as a coffee lover I would never have forgiven myself if my unvote ruined your amazing coffee! Damnit.
I understand you felt better seeing you were one of many and I didn’t suddenly start to dislike you - you’re one of the most uplifting people on this platform @c0ff33a <3 Could never hurt you, except next time we’re playing a SteemMonsters match :P
Yes, the fact Utopian is still a high-ranking witness is proof we need something like a decaying vote - or even an automatic unvote after being inactive for more than x amount of weeks... Not a crazy thought I’d say?
Now go take care of you and those coffee beans!
