I Promise Not To Do It Again

Today after waking up from a restful sleep thank God I asked my mother to give me some coffee just to perk me up. Then I felt this urge to use the toilet, but my parents are readying already to go to the shop where they would buy some of our car's needed parts and for some groceries because they already had taken their pension yesterday.

But I already am wanting to use the toilet, I do not want them to get bothered by need to use the toilet so I didn't telll them and waited until my mother had closed the door. Then I just decided to go to the bathroom on my own. So I just got up and managed to get out from my bed, stripped off my cloths, took the towel and inched my way to the bathroom.

An Electric Wheelchair Could Help Me A Lot For My Mobility Problem

Of course it was like climbing the Mt. Everest as I am walking with my two aching feet not to mention being breathless all the way. I supported my walking with my arms grabbing on the wall and the divider and at the door knobs and kitchen table as I walk myself struggling and panting.

The big obstacle was that big step I have to do because our bathroom recently had been elevated. I successfully climbed it with my knees still had the energy to lift my emaciated body up. Than I inced my way inside the bathroom it was a success.

I just took my time and used the toilet, brushed my teeth and bathed my body. The real problem was my two cursed feet as they are painful to walk with. I had also thought that I could not make it on my way back here in my room.

My Unhappy Feet Are My Great Problem For My Mobility As They Painful To Walk With Now

I just mentally focused my self on how I could move my body without tripping or sliding and falling and breaking my bones. Then that obstacle where I have to climb down that big step again and thankfully there was something I can grab unto while slowly lowering my left leg and then the right. It was a success again and I thank my joints for not dislocating in the process.

Again I have to inch myself back to here in my room. This time my feet joints are in a lot of pain already. Halfway to my room I just used the kitchen chair as my guide and walked slowly literally inching my way back in my room. I have tall the time in the world to do it.

Finally I was able to sit on my bed and then slowly laid my back. My two feet are already like I wanted to cut them off because they are painful. I waited a while because I massaged them slowly until the joints somewhat aligned again and their pain subsided.

I Just Pray To God To Take Me Away Already From This World Because Of My Suffering, Misery, And Hardships

Maybe I was able to walk because I just got dialyzed yesterday and I am not that so breathless otherwise I can never really make it even halfway to the bathroom. I will just never do this feat again although I managed to successfully taken my body to and fro the bathroom it is really not a good idea anymore because of the pain I experienced and the risks involved in the process.

I am just sad that I am experiencing this kind of life and I just pray to God to make me rest because of this pure misery that I have to go through where I do not know if I will be better in the future or just succumb in a lingering death with pain and suffering. May God help me.

Unfortunately, I kind of relate to your Mt.Everest toilet story. About 7 years ago, I gave birth to my son. He was so big that I had to get a C-section surgery. I'm all by myself here in Korea and have absolutely no help. Well, with a C-Section surgery, a doctor cuts seven layers into your lower stomach area to get the baby out. The first night was okay because I was really drugged and I had a catheter in me, but a day or two later, they took the catheter out and I found myself having to get up and go to the bathroom instead of using tubes. I actually had to get up out of the bed and walk to the toilet. If I coughed, if I even sneezed the slightest little sneeze, the stitches would rip my skin and it was very painful. Anyway to make a long story short, it took about 3 hours for me to get to the toilet and back. I inched my way slowly but surely. And afterwards I promised myself that I would never do that again. I think that was the worst experience I've ever had in my life. I know this doesn't make you feel any better but at least you know that I completely understand you and how you're feeling when it comes to using the restroom on your own.

Wow that is quite an ordeal @gungho you should have at least one accompaniment with you there at that time to help you out.

Yes I am just very careful on my step if I can call it a step with my feet because they joints in them are deteriorated already plus I have to contend with my breathlessness issue too.

I don't think I could not do that again in the following days, it is just I am newly dialyzed and got an ease from extra water that was unloaded from my body. But I am just really wanting to use the toilet badly because I could not hold it any longer.

Well, at the time, I had my husband, but he doesn't have a car, and the hospital was too far to walk to. He had to take a bus every time. He was only able to come to me around 8~10pm.

Maybe you could get a special portable toilet next to your bed for emergencies. Did you tell your mom about the incident?
