Very interesting post Asher. I see @yabapmatt's reply below on why postpromoter is claiming new accounts (for @steemmonsters to bring in new users). Which is a great use of these btw.
My guess is the other big bots are claiming to resell those accounts. It would be awesome if they are going to give those accounts away to grow the user base though, and maybe bot leaders like @therealwolf and @themarkymark can also come here and let us know their plans. That would be great for sure! And since I've seen both of these guys buying into @steemmonsters too, maybe they are going to team up with @yabapmatt and @aggroed to do something also with @steemmonsters.
Wouldn't that be great if we had a push to grow Steemit using the game for that purpose? And who knows, maybe @ned might even delegate a few RCs to those accounts to bring them up to par with the Steemit Inc brand new accounts! The teamwork if all this happened would be something refreshing, wouldn't it?
As an owner of @upme, I cIaim these accounts to use Mana. I will give it to dApps like @steemmonsters if is the need to ( for free ) or other who bring new fresh blood to the STEEM ecosystem.

Yes, I agree with accounts being claimed for @steemmonsters being a solid use case.
I hope the other guys come forward with their plans, and that they are not too dissimilar to what you set out above :)
