C'mon Steem, Don't Be Shy

It seems like for the longest time now the Steem price has not been wanting to move. The highest point I remember the Steem price being at was around $7 somewhere around February. Every since then we've been sitting back daydreaming about those kind of prices. "When Steem rocket?" , "When moon?", "When Lambo?", etc. I have no clue if or when the price will pick back up but either way I am doing my best to be prepared in case it does. Even though the price has not drastically changed since a couple of weeks ago when I made this video, here's my take on the price of Steem.

I really think Steem is one of the currencies that will do well for a number of reasons. Hopefully we get to see some major news happening around the currency in a short time. Even though it seems things have been slow for Steem and crypto markets in general, I still think the best thing to do right now is to sit tight, HODL and be patient. Much love.

What do you think is holding Steem back and do you think Steem has a future?

Steem is an infinite supply currency, and is supposed to act like a currency, and you're supposed to earn more of it by participating within the blockchain.

If you just buy a certain amount of Steem, and hope it goes to a $100 per, you will be waiting until the end of time my dude.

Think about some of the whales and bots on this blockchain, if Steem went to say $100, a great majority of them would be billionaires... now does that make any sense to you?

Steem will still be valuable in the future even if it doesn't reach Eth, Dash, or BTC levels. That's all I'm saying. Many people will indeed be millionaires or maybe even billionaires from this.

I think the users and investors on here under appreciate Steem. I'm optimistic that it will be less undervalued in the coming future.

The whole blockchain will have a big future and steemit will go on front with some of the major coins.

I believe in it ;)

I don't disagree bro!

If we look at all the cryptocurrencies, then we can see that the decline is due to the general trend. That is, the entire market is under the influence of "bears." If there is an increase in the value of the main cryptocurrency (bitcoin, Ethereum, ripple, Litecoin, and so on), then all other cryptocurrencies rise. The fact is that STEEM and SBD are more volatile and therefore they have fallen significantly. But just as much as they fell, they can rise high in value. We have no options but to wait.
I continue to believe in steemit and the fact that he has a good future. When the market starts to grow, then we will grow.

I wonder if the market is being manipulated some how. Maybe that's just me and my conspiracy.

I am convinced that the market is being manipulated. Large players can influence the course and trend. That is, they play down (bears) and create news that everything is bad. Cost is falling, people start to panic and sell. After that, "bears wear a bear's skin" and buy already cheap assets (crypto-currency, shares, futures) .As they enter the market with large volumes (that is, they make purchases for large amounts), this increases the capitalization and, accordingly, growth occurs. they are knocking down orders of other players for sale.) Accordingly, people see that the growth has begun to begin the purchase, there is a gradual growth, there are news of growth and more people are joining in raising the capitalization. And then what happens is what we see now :)
I worked with shares before

@humanearl, Absolutely I seriously think about steem tokens yet coz after release SMT definitely steem come to top of the crypto currency. Past days we all disappointed to see crypto market. I trust price go mooning before finished 2018.

Supposedly SMT's will be here around September or so. We'll have to see what's going on then. I do think they will be a major game changer though.

I see Steem in terms of working capital, instead of an investment. I would love to see it take off and not look back. As I'm learning more about crypto, I know that it will be volatile. The volatility stems from the fact that people view it as an investment.

So when it starts to raise it will go up as people jump on the bandwagon. And when it starts to fall, people will get out to preserve their capital. This will trigger overselling.

I have also notice that most cryptos initially raise as bitcoin goes up. But when bitcoin exploded in 2017, some cryptos were going down, because people were selling so they could get into bitcoin or other popular coins.

The value of Steem is that it can actually be used. Most of the other cryptos are held for investment or traded. As long as Steem is useful, it will have a future.

I think steem is both working capital and and investment. This is what separates steem from tons of other currencies. Because it is in my opinion a store of value combined with major utility. That's why I think there's loads of potential for both use cases and investment.

Your point of view makes sense, that it is both. I originally thought of it as an investment, then once I understood it I considered it more as working capital.

@humanearl,
Yeah bro, I thhink STEEM is waiting to rocket to moon when SMT launch! Therefore, HODL!

Cheers~

I think SMT's may be here around September. Stay tuned.

@humanearl,
I wish too bro!

Cheers~

steem has the most bright future just because it has a community that is growing each day with a real life usage project that is going on other crypto don't even perform like that they always make fake promises but steem is definitely the no 1 choice

Steem has a big advantage now because it has already been working for about 2 years now. That helps big time.

I think steel has a future but it will take some time. I was part of a group of people when I first joined steemit in a special discord. But a significant number of them have dropped the program. I think because they have not seen major results, then again most of us have these pipedreams when getting into something like this.

I think when SMT’S are released and depending on how much it costs, will change the game depending on how it’s implemented. I even want to use it on my personal website and open my membership to fellow steemians. Anyway I think it will take some time nonetheless

The thing about steem is that it is not only a currency to be used for transactions it also has loads of investment and entrepreneurial opportunities. SMT's I suspect will take steem over the top and beyond. I heard there are major companies already lining up to use the SMT protocol once it's released.

@humanearl - Sir keep faith on STEEM... It'll rocket to moon soon...
