Yep, I questioned that @chbartist guy about his content the other day. He posts about 3 times per day and my guess is that he pays people to write is content.

If he isn't paying anything then Steemit is his full time thing. His content is still shit though. And highly repetitive like you mentioned. So if Steemit is his full time thing then he's simply earning money from his bot vote profits (although checking the votes today, he seems to have lost some money).

I've grown incredibly tired of seeing the same people on the trending page as well. It's all a giant steaming pile of shit. I ignore the trending page most of the time these days.

Edit: That photo is from somewhere in Indonesia. I saw similar sights while travelling through Bali. Very depressing stuff indeed.
