I to this day still wonder why did ned and dan name the first Steem application Steemit, people who are not using Steem still think Steemit is a coin, our great creators needlessly created a 3 year old confusion in crypto space.
Perhaps this site/app needs a rebrand, something like SteemApp, and once you click on it in the bold letters it should say "This app uses Steem Blockchain". I feel this confusion will never end as long as the name stays the same.
Even our own users don't get the difference as you can see in all these videos from alternative media guys posting to the Steem blockchain and messing that up all the time. Super confusing and difficult to get out of the heads of people.
Yep. All we can do is keep repeating it. At least the separate logos may start to help people eventually get it.
If everyone disowned steemit for the lies and deceit they pull on us, it wouldn't be a problem.
