I agree with you, I think these are people with double discourse. Although it is really possible that someone has mixed feelings when they are wanting the price to fall in order to buy and at the same time they are looking forward to the price rising to double their investment.
In the end, we need investors. Large investors preferably, but if everyone can invest a few dollars, this would also be beneficial for the ecosystem.

I love it @smasssh so all these things that is happening is just an opportunity for us to grab because it will not be like this forever as the wheels of crypto are turning up and down.

For some people, it is the funds to buy that is the problem.
I understand that, ofcourse.
But if you can for now miss, let's say 50 USD a month, you can currently buy 300 Steem. The moment the current steemprice doubles in price you sell half (so 150 Steem) and got your 50 USD back and above that 150 more SP.
A lot of people talk about being here for the long haul, but act as if they just want to make a quick buck.
17 cts is a steal, even if MAYBE it goes a bit lower.
AND ... if next week it goes up to 25 cts, most wil be discouraged because it didn't go lower, and don't buy because they think they "missed the boat" or find it again too expensive.
