Hard Fork 20 Has Been Reversed Due To Bugs - Back to Hard Fork 19!
As you have no doubt realised by now - Steem has been offline most of the day. This is largely due to issues encountered during the adoption process of the new version of the Steem software across the various kinds of nodes that keep the network live. Witnesses have been busy all day helping diagnose and resolve the situation as best we can and a fix is now available and being rolled out.
For now the plan is to revert back to Hard Fork 19 and to re-establish a stable network so that from there the necessary fixes can be made to Hard Fork 20.
My own witness servers are currently repairing and will ideally be back online in the next few hours.
The top 20 witnesses currently appear to have recovered enough for Steem to function again - we should see improved performance and stability in the next few hours.

No better way to test than to throw it out there, but, an advance warning that things can go wrong and an exact date for a trial run would be nice. I wonder if there is a way to coordinate that so folks aren't in the dark for a day without knowing why. Thanks for the info. Greetings.
Better co-ordination is needed in general, it is quite clear that communication is definitely not strong at steemit inc. - which is sad since this is a communication based system!

If you add more than a few photos it errors out. I had to screenshot the photos cause apparently more than 3 photos was too much. But I guess that is better than sideway uploads.
Which website are you using? Steemit.com?
Yesterday I did. Though most if the time I use one of the other ways to access the BC

No just noticed there is an issue with steemit uploading them yesterday after it came back up. Steemit was first other sites took 30 minites or so after steemit went live before being live. I had stuff ready to go so I used steemit to post. Figured since you are apart of the team working on shit I would let you know of this issue. Idk if any other of the sites are having that issue haven't checked yet
Ok sure, thanks. I do not work for Steemit inc. so am not working directly on Steemit.com, but I will do some tests of my own here and pass on info to relevant people if necessary.
