The game was much better in 2016 and early 2017, then they changed to a nonsense mmo. Can’t even have a decent trending which is arguably more valuable than random apps and “passive” income selling votes.
It would certainly make for a much healthier platform. The way it is now isn't going to attract greater adoption. Someone new comes along, puts in a ton of time and effort into their posts, and sees themselves earning a few pennies per post at best, with very little interaction from others. It feels like a waste of their time, so they give up. There is no good way for even the dwindling number of well-meaning, non-bot users here to discover all the new people who would deserve to be discovered.
