In the scriptural times faithful men of God displayed some level and rare depth of conviction in their relationship with God.
I their days, they spoke the word of God with all power and authority and they carried out actions that were potent and deeply inspired. Through all this teachings and preachings, they obtained great results and outstanding victories to the glory of God.
The display of trust and manifestation of supernatural confidence is hinged on the level of relationship and fellowship and communion developed already.
They came to a stage where they clearly understood that will of God and knew all the promptings of God.
There are alot to be learnt from their way of living. They spoke as they believed, and it was so. They projected God and not self.

It is very important and necessary they as believers we should learn to develop and exercise unshakable faith in God.
WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THE PHRASE 'OVERCOMERS FAITH'.
To overcome means to subdue, to surmount or can also be to prevail over an obstacle and to overwhelm and win.
While faith is an attitude that had to do with a level of conviction and trust in a situation.
Overcomers faith refers to a mentality of having a strong conviction and trust in God and his ability to perform all he had promised to give us. It also involves the believing in the word of God so as we can prevail over challenges and trials. It also involved expression of positive words and having good victories.
ARE THERE ANY HINDRANCES TO THE MANIFESTATION OF THE OVERCOMERS FAITH?
Yes!!. There are hindrances to manifestation of the overcomers faith. These hindrances are found in our mentality, our actions, also in our environment and the pressures they bring to us. All these hindrances are bent on taking us away from having it possessing the overcomers faith and they bring oppression to us in the long run.
Also persons may have certain doubt and unbelief in their minds. Such doubts and unbelief can hinder one from developing the overcomers faith.
Peer pressure also from friends can also hinder one from having the overcomers faith.

Most importantly, one who lacks the Holy Spirit can not be able to develop the overcomers faith. So we all should strive to have the Holy Spirit and live in righteousness.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF HAVING THE OVERCOMERS FAITH.

A believer who is able to exercise the overcomers faith will have the privilege of abiding in the love of God and thereby enjoying the fullness of fellowship with the father.
His or her life will be pleasing to God and as such will be surrounded by the blessings and mercies of God.

Most importantly, he or she will inherit the kingdom of God where he or she will be rewarded as a faithful servant.
So I urge us as believers to always strive to develop the overcomers faith.

so relating it to one's faith is a very good topic in that an overcomers faith is indeed needed to be of high capacity to overcome any obstacle that comes in both the faith of an individual and that of the church. The overcomers faith is a topic that can not be over emphasize in that the faith is a neccessity for every faithful and should be extended to other parties especially when related to morality.

Overcomers faith can be likened to the kind of belief a suckling child has on the mother, that she would always provide food whenever the child is hungry. This kind of faith is what we should practice.
An overcomers faith resist the temptation to renounce his faith even when the persecution is heavy, he honestly and continually conforms to the will of God.
for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.

The faith in God displayed by christians of old is sure proof of their unwavering faith in God. Personally I think they faced more trials in two weeks than most of us would even face in our life times. But still, our faith wavers at little persecutions and trials. I think we all need the holyspirit. He alone is the answer to all our problems. He would teach us the right things to do, how to love, how to live and most especially how to become overcomers. We should never forget philipians 4.13 that tells us that we can do all things through christ that strengthens us. Note that we weren't told some things but all things. Through the help of our lord Jesus Christ, we would definitely overcome.
Taking a look at the apostles of Jesus Christ as of old with the kind of faith they had to be able to go trough mythrdom for christ I don't think their will he such kind of faith in todays world,they really have an unwavering faith which made them to overcom many obstacles.

Doubt indeed is a big hindrance to overcoming as a believer. We just have to exercise faith in God, to see us through every situation we find ourselves.
The issue of faith makes me reflect on what is going on in the north east region in Nigeria. The Christians over there have demonstrated a very strong faith, despite the killings and threats their faith is still waxing strong
