when you talked of the meaning of overcome:

To overcome means to subdue, to surmount or can also be to prevail over an obstacle and to overwhelm and win

so relating it to one's faith is a very good topic in that an overcomers faith is indeed needed to be of high capacity to overcome any obstacle that comes in both the faith of an individual and that of the church. The overcomers faith is a topic that can not be over emphasize in that the faith is a neccessity for every faithful and should be extended to other parties especially when related to morality.
