RE: STEEMCHURCH: CHRIST COMES FOR A HOLY CHURCH

in #steemchurch6 years ago

Many say that because of Jesus' sacrifice we are free and since we are no longer under the law, we have nothing to do as we go through life, but wait for Him to come for His Church.
According to modern Christianity, we need only repeat a prayer inviting Christ to enter our hearts and we will obtain eternal life.
But is it true that it's that simple? Could it be that Christ who came to this world not only to die for us to save us, but to show us by example how to live in holiness, will be willing to accept a church that lives in sin?
If, as many say, we no longer have to keep the commandments, we will be in sin, because sin is the transgression of the law, and sin is the opposite of holiness, so what are we left with?
It is quite interesting because these same Christians insist that the Law is for the Jews, that the tithes and offerings are for the Jews, that keeping the Sabbath is for the Jews, that the tribulation will be only for the Jews, but salvation is for Christians. Blessings word full of power
