Introducing the Steem Upvote Bot Tracker!

https://steemit.com/utopian-io/@yabapmatt/introducing-the-steem-upvote-bot-tracker

Created by @yabapmatt, http://www.steembottracker.com tracks the status of 5 popular bid-based voting bots and highlights ones which are currently under-bid and nearing the end of the bidding cycle. It also suggests the max amount to bid in order to remain profitable. Using this method takes the luck out of using these services and allows you to capitalise on some great opportunities (like a 447% return).

@codewithcheese has created an amazing tool to analyse the Steem blockchain data. In this post he shows the most popular URL's, Websites and Social Profiles on Steemit. Super useful information!

My latest Contributor Report for Utopian.io, bringing many new exciting features to the platform.

What is Utopian?

All the above posts were written using Utopian.io, allowing them to access amazing rewards. Read this post for more info about how Utopian is rewarding Open Source Contributors and how you can be rewarded too: https://steemit.com/steemit/@elear/utopian-already-rewarding-early-adopters

Utopian.io is a platform based on Steem and listed in the Steem Ecosystem, that rewards contributions to Open Source projects. A project is Open Source when its codebase is publicly available. Usually codebases of Open Source projects are hosted in Github.com. Steem itself is an Open Source project: https://github.com/steemit/steem.

Utopian gives contributors the opportunity to write a Steemit post and to link the post to an existing Open Source project on Github. In Utopian these are called Contributor Reports.

Utopian.io is the only platform rewarding Open Source Contributors. https://utopian.io

Is there a way you could only be asking for the posting key via Steemconnect?

I would like that too. However, I believe Steem Connect v2 needs the active key to assign the posting authority to your account, since SC2 is actually integrated with the blockchain now.

This is another unexpected, much appreciated achievement! Thank you so much @transisto

@transisto As for your question about the posting key, what do you mean exactly? Utopian is using Steemconnect V2 that is so far the safest way to allow logging other applications with your Steem credentials.

Great post

Thanks for highlighting my bot tracker in your post. It wasn't the best timing that the day after I released it SteemIt goes down and a lot of the bots got all messed up lol. But they seem to be all back on track now!

Question about Utopian - If I make updates to the bot tracker can/should I submit another contribution report or should those only be for new projects?

@yabapmatt every new contribution to your Open Source bot tracker that makes it better, more popular, more useful etc. are more than welcome on Utopian!

Well, that's something new I didn't know about it, thanks for the info. I will check out https://utopian.io, looks interesting.

You are more than welcome to try out Utopian.io @pipokinha! If you need any help just get in touch :)

Hi @elear,

Superb initiative. I find it a pity there is so little support for the makers/contributors who write about their progress. This idea fits in perfectly!

I have a couple of questions though.

First: do I get it right that the post must be made on utopian.io?

Second. Code contributions easilly fit the idea. I just recently made a blog post about an electronics project of mine. Would this fit the idea? If I were to write this same post on utopian.io would it qualify? How do you check if it qualifies? And if it does, can I still add it?

Third. I'm designing a 3D #gridcoin and have been posting about it (check my blog to see what I mean) Is this something that fits in? What do the posts need to contain? There won't be github pull requests. I will make the design available for others to print as well, it's kind of open source.

Hello @jefpatat. You made quite a few valid points. For now Utopian only allows contributions to existing github repos. This will change in the future. I made a video to show how Utopian works. Have a look and let me know: https://steemit.com/dtube/@elear/18wkyxfc

I really appreciate reading this news from you, though I'm new on Steem it is well understood. I look forward to more interesting topics from you.

@elear
Bot Tracker! Name speaks it self. Very much needed piece of code. Can't wait to try it. Thanks for sharing and keep up the good work.

Let me try the upvote bot tracker .So excited :)

@kizzbonez it's an amazing tool and it has a lot of room to be improved. @yabapmatt made a great work and he is willing to improve it over time by adding many more bots to the list!

Congratulations @elear, this post is the tenth most rewarded post (based on pending payouts) in the last 12 hours written by a Superuser account holder (accounts that hold between 1 and 10 Mega Vests).
