MINGLE,MINGLE and MINGLE
Time flies when you are having fun and I am excited for everyone going to Steemfest. I would love to be going but financially it is not in my budget this year. Maybe next year,actually that will be a definite and I am sure I will be able to convince some others to come along as well.
I have never understood these sorts of meet ups but now I do get it. It is important for a number of reasons and networking is key. To know who you have been chatting to for all these months making the connections real. Meeting new people and making new connections is just as important.
Steemit is all about the people and nothing else. That is the social media side of this place and so many users just don't get it. I am a people person and that is where my strengths lie. I am not scared to just go up and chat to someone and not many people are like that. I have been to so many functions where people hide away in their corners with one or two people they know. What benefits does that bring and who have you met.
I hope the ones who are fortunate enough to go ,realize this is a great opportunity to meet new people and gain some new friends and genuine followers. A little jealous of all of you who are going but I will look out for anything that is live on Dtube and Vimm.

When does the venue be decided for the event? Be interesting to know where for next year and I’ve the bags packed already
I think it will be fantastic. Flood not allowed to join Steem though. I will go for sure. These things are really important.
Not hyperventilating when forced to talk to people if I would very much like to be a people person but am not and I only start stutter and say all the wrong things and not knowing what the heck to do with my hands and eyes and and and... But that's only worst case scenario. :)
I get it. Just mingle. Easy peasy. But it's not. It's not weather to want to do things. It's about not being able to. Not being fluent at all in things like that. But I get it. People should mingle. And those who don't, are weirdos who have no-one else to blame than themselves. Because it's so easy. It's like saying to a depressed person: "Cheer up!"
It is tough just making the first move and is easier than you think. People actually appreciate someone making the move first.I was never like this when i was younger but I realized all the missed opportunities.
