First of all Sean Bean doesn't die in this game. he only narrates it. The game itself introduced me to Dyatlov Pass incident which is an event just as interesting as those Bermuda Triangle/Area 51 stories but on a much smaller scale with much smaller attention received.
The Power Of Video Games
Wikipedia alone suggests many explanations and this game puts the player in the middle of the incident to the best of its ability. It's a truly horrifying experience not because of the jump scares or anything. It's just the power of not knowing what the hell happened while knowing some unexplainable hell happened.

The game is a chilling mystery and the more truths you know, more chills it give. You may have your own interpretation. But you can't deny something messed up actually happened.

What really got me sold was the second video explaining ll the events. According to https://howlongtobeat.com the game itself isn't very long. It's just 4.5 hours for most people and only 7.5 hours for a Completionist. I actually love this kind of games. I can't stand padded content length. It's the same reason I generally avoid TV series as much as possible. So I expect the game to not overstay its welcome and intrigue.
The "spoilers" were actually what got me interested in the game and the graphics look pretty decent thanks to the setting what was picked allowing the small team to actually do a great job without spending too much resources.
