You may be already familiar to robot vacuums. 10 years ago, many people doubts the performance of robot vacuum, but now they enjoy free labor by a robot. Then, why not mowing?
RoboMow is the product realizing your dream: a robot mows my lawn instead of me!
The working logic of RoboMow is quite similar to usual robot vacuum. It charges its battery while staying in its base station, and it starts to mow by pre-set frequency (ex: twice per week). RoboMow detects boundary by pre-installed wire. (Yes, before the first mowing by RoboMow, the owner have to install the given wire by fixing with pegs.) Moreover, the base station has rain detector, and the mowing is postponed if it rains.
And the RoboMow has own app (iOS and Android). What can you do with the app? You can control the RoboMow like a RC car! Hence, when you see your RoboMow is stuck somewhere, you don't need to go outside. Just control the machine using your smartphone while watching over the window.
Now the largest model can cover only up to 3/4 acre. You may feel that it is expensive with the price tag more than $2,000. (Of course, smaller version costs less) However, when you take a rest as watching the robot mowing your lawn, you should be satisfied with this smart robot.
