Appreciating Little Things

Motivational speeches are not my thing. I believe each and every one of us knows what needs to be done and how, no need for speeches.

I've seen people complaining all the time just to get some consolation. That's ok from time to time, we all need to get things off our chest but doing it on a regular bases can be very tiring, energy consuming. These people's only pleasure is to play the victim and complain. They can't see anything else. Nothing is good enough for them, they can't (or don't want to) see the good, positive side of things.

These people spend their lives wanting and dreaming of big things. In a way we all do as that's called having goals, and these goals can't be achieved from one day to another. Sometimes achieving a goal can take years or decades. That doesn't mean you have to be unhappy and complaining ten years and be happy only the day you achieve your goal. There's a road that takes you there and that road is just as important as the goal. This is not rocket science, it's very simple, you just have to be willing to see it.

Life on Steemit blockchain is pretty much the same as in real life. There are the same people here with the same behavior. How many I've seen having only one topic, the price of Steem. They start each day with looking at the price and saying the same things on Discord, which is, wishing the price goes up. This is pretty much all they are capable of. If the price goes down, they are unhappy, if it goes up, they wish it would go up even more.

Life on Steemit is much more than just watching the price of Steem and complaining about everything. Much, much more. If you can't see that, you have a huge problem.

I was told once by a great boss. “Some people love being miserable. No matter what you do or say will not change their mindset” . “So don’t let them change yours or it could bring you down to their level”. 😀😀. I see they are not affecting you either . Good job. Great posts and I love a good pansy !

That great boss was so right! Some people love being miserable and Steemit is a great place to always complain. But don't worry, I'm avoiding them 😀.
Thank you for your support!

Thank you @pixresteemer!

I agree, society is very much the same here as in real life. I've found that after I cleansed my feed with just folks that provide some sort of sustenance for the good parts of life, I like it much more here. And I never go on discord anymore. I think that helps too :)

Of course it's the same as the same people are here that you can find outside steemit :) Good thing there are plenty, we can choose who to follow and associate with :)
Discord is a necessary evil unfortunately, but I can limit my staying there and avoid the crowd that I don't like. Have a nice weekned :)
