I'm kinda glad that steemit.com can now step into maintenance mode now that we have viable 3rd party front ends popping up. IMO this is how it should work; condenser is a fairly bare-bones affair that is feature complete but so generic it appeals to almost nobody. That then provides a solid base for the 3rd party devs to innovate upon and build some killer UIs that are more tuned for the needs of individuals and communities. It's a healthy evolution imo.

But the problem remains that many use that interface, or at least start on it. There are many small changes they could make. That's the source of my annoyance.

But I do think they should keep it as a simple functional interface. I like it like that.
