I see votebots as being a cancer upon steem. Centralizing control and power into the hands of greedy often uncaring whales. I personally would rather the steem be powered up and used to curate authors. And i've told others i won't build them , not for 200usd, not for 20,000usd. Just not good for us creators. they are only good for whales. With the current setup we have, everyone gets an equal share. Having a votebot i feel goes against the core message and the work i've been doing for the past months inside one love.
Ahh yea I see your point, just considering the options of how to best make use of our extra accounts. Most vote bots are open to everyone, I would work it so it uses our followed authors listing furthermore it would not pay delegators so no increasing returns for whales. If the period goes without vote someone from the list at random would be selected for the period, idea is paid votes for community at a guaranteed profit for that member or an extra vote for the community if no bids.. then those profits would be transferred to power up our main account further! I do understand your objection and mostly agree though I use the services myself.
Guess I should have clarified I don’t want to launch our own version of something already available on steemit rather something new and try set a precedent!
