About the conception of new habits for the Steemit community in 2018

Welcome to this post, fellow comrades that I have yet to know and read about. This new start has being really exciting, although I haven’t being able to be fully inmerse with you guys for some problems at home.

I am here right now, and so are you, because we have the interest of changing. For that, we need to make habits. But we have already tried that, right?

The answer relies on old habits. It’s not about erasing them without comprehending them. It’s about taking advantage of them.

Did you know that we are very sistematical? If you reflect on your attitude and thought process, you would realize that you always do certain things before an habitual behaviour. Like thinking about stressful things, recognizing them, and then eating your nails. Or feeling frustrated, having particular set of perceptions of a failure, and then masturbating. Or just, very easy ones like, feeling the urge to go to the bathroom, and proceed to do your necessity.

The trick then is to simply add the new habit to be a conscious response to one of those so usual actions of your daily basis, for it to become effortlessly a natural reaction. Want to do some pushups? Always do five after deciding you are going to take a shower. Always do five if you catch yourself wandering.

Try to be ever so more conscious of your daily time, without so much wandering. Take control and start to apply mindfulness by ever being aware. This, of course, drains your willpower and exhauste you. But you will be excersing your brain, just as another muscle, and the change will be happening. Don’t forget this.

What type of habit you choose is on you, just try is a productive one for the kind of life you lead.

This year is big for me on deconstructing old habits! I am so bad at remembering to drink water, even though I live right next to a river and hear it 24/7.
A way I have been working on upping my water intake is by drinking a cup of water before I can start making myself a cup coffee or tea. It really is just very simple things that can be the most life-changing.

Exactly like that Coyote. That's the principle that will make every new action you want to impliment on your life to be apprehended with similar grades of inertia as breathing or walking.
