Sometimes You Gotta Just Do It!!

You wanna see how many people really follow you and vote on your content? Lose all your power and it may give you a clearer view.

One thing I love to do is Support #steemsilvergold, over the past few months I was able to set every member up on my autovoter, I mean how can you say you support #steemsilvergold and not vote on everyone?

Well just like everyone else, when an opportunity comes along, you can either watch it or jump in. Well @raybrockman decided to jump in. You may be wonder what I an talking about.

Well about a week or so ago, a steemit member came knocking on my door, wanting to run something past me and see what I thought of it.

So of course @raybrockman let them in and we set down and talked about, immediately I was Impressed, so Impressed I went and knocked on another members door. One that I value their opinion, I ran it by them and they seemed to be impressed. So it was time to help make this happen. So we got the hard hats out and jump in on the construction.

Well construction is over and the grand openning is set for May 18th 2018. What is it? thats the question you are probably asking. Well first let me ask you this, have you ever used one of those Bid Bots? you know there are hundreds of them all out there trying to make a living off of your hard earned SBD or Steem. Now sometimes they are profitable but most of the time they are not. Well, We have come up with an alternate solution and we will call it @rewards-pool

Well let me get in to the meat of this idea. It may sound a little complex at first but really its a genius of an idea.

This account will give out 8 to 10 100% upvotes a day to members
Each member will delegate 250 steem to the account, we will accept 10 steem for the first couple of months. Ideally this is set up to operate off of delefation not liquid steem.
All members will be enter into a Random Picker and 8 to 10 members will be selected per day.
Dry Off period: once a member wins a vote the will go into a Dry Off period, the dry off period will be set by how many members the account has. DRY OFF will not start untill we have over 30 members. I will include a chart at the bottom that will show Dry Off examples.
Post must be within 3 days old to qualify for a vote.
The more members we have the bigger the vote. So bring a friend with you, or you could even sponsor a newbie.

this first chart gives examples of the vote dollar per vote once memvership gets to that leval and your odds at winning a vote.

Now here is where you gotta understand we e
Want you to send a delegation not steem, we are set up to take steem for the first couple of months but delegation is the preferred method. We dont want you to lose any type of profit or ROI. 250 steem delegation is worth about .06 cents, this could possibly bring you a $5 to $6 dollar vote. You would never beable to earn that type of reward off of 250 steem power.

Dry Off Period.

The follow chart gives you an idea of how the Dry Off Period Works. This was put into place to insure that that as the week progresses your chnaces do as well. It also prevents the same member from getting multiple votes.

As you can see some time and effort was put into this idea. For a 250 steem delgation you could possibly get a vote that is worth 100 times what the 250 steem delegation is worth.

The more I read about @reward-pool, the more I like the idea. Much better than gambling with a bid bot. I'll see if I can put together a delegation sometime next week. @ironshield

I have shied away from delegations so far. Mostly concentrated on building my stack.

But I am willing to try out yours and Pit's project. And it is 100% based on your reputation in the #steemsilvergold community. You and several others are giving selflessly to help our stacking community and the steemit ecosystem at large grow and thrive.

The Upvotes above are calculated using what price of STEEM? I looked at... what at present appears to be diminishing returns with increasing membership (for instance twice the members doesn't double the upvote... but it does half the chance of winning. And I do understand why.)

At those upvote levels Delegating STEEM, like you said, is the way to go. It remains profitable regardless of the number or members (above what one could expect to earn by leasing out their STEEM Power).

Paying 10 STEEM though, at the above upvote levels, stopped being profitable, according to my spreadsheet, once membership reached 60 or more. This lack of profitability for non-delegators at higher membership numbers was calculated at 8 random votes per day. 10 Votes would keep it profitable for longer, but I haven't calculated how much longer.

In any case... I'm sure all the kinks will get worked out. This should be fun and get us some nice random upvotes. I have faith in you guys. You should be compensated for your work and initiative, but at the same time I assume some of the profits will go towards obtaining more leased SP. (That's why I have the extra 250SP in my wallet, ready to shoot over before the 18th )

As stated below on the @rewards-pool post numbers were crunched on Mat 7th. Everybody is a deligator in rewards pool. Whether you have the sp and deligate it to us or whether you pay in and we secure the 250 sp deligation for you. Maybe your math didnt account for the last part. I do plan on recrunching them tonight or tomorrow when i get a chance. I will probably do this weekly as we get goin

Great idea. In a few months hope to have enough SP to make use of all our available options liek the Mermaid etc. Not sure which one is the best however.
