How to fix steemit part 1.

*In part 2 I will apply a technique I/we use in the automotive industry with regards to engineering, it is simply called root cause & corrective action. @ned I want to help you, not hurt you. Part 2 will be root cause. part 3 corrective action.
At times on here, it is cult like, and also resembles a ponzi scheme. If you dare speak out - those with a stake (bought or other) will shun you, as they want to protect their stake, and sell more. This is human nature, and will never change. The more inquisitive (like me) prefer to look under the hood before buying in. You may remember earlier in the year, I was thinking about investing heavily in here, though like any other investment I make, I wanted to know what was under the hood (bonnet UK) :-).
This sell the product mentality would be fine, if this was decentralized like it claims on the label, I aim to prove in part 2, beyond any reasonable doubt, it is the exact opposite. This place also claims freedom of speech beyond compare to any other site, I can prove that 2 fold to be false.
*(Ned has already started to apply corrective action, he needs to go further, which I will explain in part 3 tonight.)
HF 20 also provided more proof as if it was needed, that it had become a even more ponzi like scheme with RC's. anyone like me that spoke up about this was shunned, as per usual, it is the "I am alright jack" mentality that will sink this place, along with greed. Ned knew the large stake holders would lap this up, like a cat with cream, as they would think it "shuts up the comment trolls". To have a voice now when new, you need to buy in, or face severe restrictions with regards to transactions/comment & upvotes you can do per day.
I want this place to succeed and to thrive.
If I did not I would not still be here. If I did not I would not be doing or writing this. If I did not I would not have spent the past 2 months putting all this together. I have a vested interest also, 1239 sp to be exact, wow big deal I hear some think. It matters not how much I have or have not got. I am more than comfortable off site, I never needed the money. Some of you do though, so with this in mind I will try my best to outline a plan, for all, not just the greedy few (stinc).
So this is my disclaimer for the next 2 or three posts, anything I say is going to be backed up with facts, and with proof, screenshots etc, that anyone can check in seconds, via steemd. I am not going down the road of outing specific people, that would do more harm than good, account names only. I am also not going to show linked wallets, you can find them with the above tool.
From this point forward, anything I say in the next two or 3 posts is to benefit steemit and the community as a whole!
If we want to fix it, facing up to it is the first step!

I'm hooked on the info you are supplying. I'm clever enough to decide for myself whether or not you are being bitter or talking sense and I know you'll respect me saying that. I'm no where near as tech minded as yourself but I've smelt a rat for a long time. Whenever I have mention grievances I have had exactly the response you spoke of in this post i.e "Your wrong and I'm right". Also it has always seemed crazy that a site with so much going on and with so many new apps being produced exclusively for the site has never had a positive impact on the price, instead the opposite. To a layman like myself these were huge red flags and it's great to hear my worries are not just paranoia or sour grapes. Keep up the great work bro!
Cheers my friend, and no, I have no sour grapes, this place has been good to me. I just do not seeing people get conned and tricked, by the cult crew, who bury heads in sand.
Yes it has been good to us all, just a shame there has been so much manipulation going on. Personally, I came here to escape the rotten parts of social media. I've always known some folk abused the system, that's just human nature to a point, I was just hoping for this to be a place where the majority would keep that kind of behaviour in check.
It will take some big changes, I do know for a fact some witnesses are talking about it, and trying to plan how to fix it, so hang in there bro, it is not the end of the world, and by mo means game over my friend.
I'm going nowhere, mate. One good thing about not being savvy when it comes to tech and crypto is that this site becomes more about the community than the payouts. I a bit like you though and don't like to see folk being shafted for the sake of others greed. They may have a big effect but the minority of shysters won't ruin my experience, STEEM-ON! STEEM-ON!
