Ideas To Make You Happier (Healthier?)

There are lots of ideas in this world. Or should I say out of this world. They all consist of words that are put together very well. But how to they manage to work? I think it's only if we believe it then we can see it.

Today I wanted to give you some ideas that may help with the overall situation of your life. Doesn't matter if you're happy or worried, calm or anxious. You're made of the same thing as each and everyone of us and I love you for that. And for the opportunity to sow a seed in your subconscious mind - I love you for that too.

Breathe Consciously

Breathing is something we all do. When we are calm, our breathing is calm. When we're anxious about something our breathing is faster. Breathing issomething we can't really stop unless we strangle ourselves until we pass out but then breathing comes back again naturally. I mean - even if we die, we will eventually be born somewhere and our breathing will resume.

Here's a Vice documentary about Wim Hof and his ability to do things that seemed impossible before. From simple breathing techniques to exposure to cold, he is able to regulate the autonomic nervous system of his body and do miraculous things but the best part about it - it's scientifically approved.

His breathing technique:
Take a deep breathe in and let it go.
Inhale fully but let the exhalation happen naturally, don't push it out.
Do it thirty times in a row and on the last exhalation stop breathing.
You will feel light headed and have tingling sensations in your body.
After a minute or more when you feel that you need to breathe take a deep breathe in and hold it for 10-15 seconds and then let it out.
Do it up to five times and tap in the universe within yourself. More repetiotions in a row and you will be able to hold your breath for longer periods of time. And that's the moment when the magic happens (As I noticed). You lose the track of time and sometimes you think you've been holding your breathe for only a minute or less but then you watch the timer and see it's more than two minutes.

Be Grateful

Even though it's hard at first to be grateful for the things you have since birth it's much harder to be worried about meaningless stuff all the time.

You wake up in the morning, you have a body and a fully operational mind at your control. You are seated in the crown chakra of your body regulating what happens and what is the next step and action for you.

Thank the world for another day you've been given because not everyone has it. Every night about a million people go to sleep to never wake up again (at least in that body). Be grateful for the air you're breathing and for the food you are eating.

Gratitude will inspire you. You'll start noticing how precious the present moment is. The moment right here, right now. It's where everything starts. It's the place of love, the place with a flow.

Put In the Effort

What you do - it does not define you. It's how you do it that matters. I mean - there are lots of people in this world doing the most boring job one could possibly imagine doing while he is a kid. Lets take an office job for example. Nobody would dream about sitting at the desk for 8 hours completing tasks nobody really cares of or even if they did - those things doesn't matter on a big scale.

What matters is how happy you are with the way you are living. I think it's often that poor people are happier and more loving towards other than rich businessman. They have more empathy and they are more understanding of other people feelings and the state of mind they're in because they know what the struggle is. They know how it is to get hurt or be unaccepted while the rich ones ussually spend their lives in their comfort zone without even caring for those who can't provide for themselves.

What I wanted to say was that we have the power in us to make our life better. We have the knowledge we need if we take our time and seek it. And it starts with simple things like how we greet other people. Do we shake hands and look in the eye, hug them or simply say some standart phrase without even looking at them. It matters.

Just by wishing someone a wonderful day we are bringing a change to this world and we are doing it from within ourselves. Inspiring the world by the actions we do. And so we grow. Loving and true.

Beautiful, very inspiring and encouraging. I needed the reminder about breathing. I learn it, I do it and then I let life get in the way and find that I'm often sitting and holding my breath. Thank you for the reminder!

Yeah, the thing with the breathing happens for me too. One moment you realize you have to take in the breath for something to happen.
