Word of the day ”Free” - Steem Monsters Booster Pack
I awoke this morning to find blue skies sort of here in British Columbia Canada and a nice surprise to go with it!
Looking at my Wallet to see my rewards for the day I saw a transaction from @tipu alerting me I won their giveaway of a @SteemMonsters booster pack.
Some people don’t value the things they get for free, gifts are often neglected, they don’t respect what has been passed on to them. I have spent most of my life struggling to get where I am, my father taught me the hard way value of a dollar through a hard days labor. I honour everything that has been bestowed upon me big or small. Celebrating my own success and in my own way helping to raise visibility for these services that are giving back to the entire Steemit community.
What did I get?
Five really awesome looking cards, I do enjoy how much effort they put into designing the backs of these cards.
Get on with it already!
Two Rare and Three Common all of which are new to my deck, Perfect!
Now I just need to figure out which ones are going to be the game changers and start trading!

The raffle for the booster back is a great idea on their part.
I have been wondering if they will go back to SBI stay with booster packs or move onto something else? I have faith it will be good either way, this project seeems to be aimed at rewarding users and backers handsomely rather then the typical risky bid bots.

Maybe they could make it an option for the 'raffle' winner? That way, it could work out better for them if someone is not interested in Steem Monsters, they could save $$$ by handing out the SBI instead.

I wish I had the money kicking around to drop like $500 into booster packs, I know this will be a huge success and a very profitable endeavour nevermind I just want to play... I miss Pokémon lol my pokego account was banned for using the same wifi as a cheater, I guess they banned like 10 of us at once in my area as none of them are out and about anymore.

@steemmonsters has announced that they are targeting the end of September for tournament play, and that everything is on track thus far.
However!!! For the Steemit Conference in Toronto in early September, there's a chance to catch some tournament play in action. Must be some sort of alpha test at that point. Yay for @yabapmatt and @aggroed - make it happen!! lol
I still need to somehow scrounge up $150 for a ticket... I live here ffs!! XD
