New Steem Monsters changes //

Finally the changes have arrived and i can continue clawing up the ladder and get my free season packs. yeey.

I can say that at first glance i like almost everything i see. Going up from novice level is a bit annoying though.
The reduction from 10 to 5 wins for a daily pack is a welcome change and i think it suits the game now that gameplay is significantly slower.
Having a choice of picking a deck after looking at the last 5 games played by your opponent is an amazing thing that adds so many layers to the gameplay.

The only thing is that it slows down the gameplay. That isnt such a bad thing and i probably wouldnt mind it if the loading screens werent a bit slow. Im starting to hate that white loading circle i see when ever i complete an action on SM. Not sure what can be done there but id like to see something.

From 10-15 games i played so far it really shows that people switch up their decks a lot. Especially because of the random max Mana we get each game.
We got more strategy with this, less bots and more nuance.
I dont think we will be seeing any more 30k ratings any time soon and thats a really good thing imo.

Overall this is the biggest change i think to come to Steem Monsters since the implementation of "Battles" and it lifted the quality of the game substantially.

Usually big changes to a game have some side-effects. I cant see this being the case with Steem Monsters.
