This episode closes out our week on friendship! We decided that this was just too big of a topic to cram into one episode. This week, we will be discussing the Downside of Friendships - where we spill all the drama and talk about some of the more difficult aspects of friendship.
In this episode, we talk all about how to resolve difficulties with friends, how we've ended friendships in the past, and more.

What is the Steem Sister Show All About?
We aim to bring more “non-crypto” related content to the Steem Blockchain. Although there is nothing wrong with this kind of content (@corsucate even posts on crypto related material sometimes) – we want to help create a better onboarding experience for new users. We talk a lot about attracting new users to the platform – but if the trending page is filled with crypto posts and flagging wars, they are likely to lose interest quickly.
We hope that by creating content that is more similar to what they are used to seeing on other social media sites – they will feel more excited about being here and creating content of their own!
How Does It Work?
We pick a different topic every episode, and then throw totally random questions about that topic in a hat and go back and forth. We always have a mix of our own questions and some audience questions. Our rule is that we cannot tell each other our answers before filming! So you guys are getting our raw, unfiltered reactions here.
Every episode we announce the next week’s topic so people can submit questions.

As two girls who tend to put in a lot of hours, I think it will be good for us to stop and talk about the importance of work and life balance. I think we both put a lot of value on time with friends and those we love - and so it will be intereresting to chat more about how and where we find that balance.

So interesting and synchronistic that this is the topic of your show today because I woke up to a text from a very old friend from high school that I have purposefully distanced myself from. He is .... ummm not the most loving person. He's a d**k basically and I was his only friend back in the day.
That said I didn't know how to approach this text if I should ignore it or engage him. I thought to give him the benefit of the doubt and text back but within the span of 10 minutes, he said some very vulgar ignorant things and reminded me why I cut him out of my life in the first place.
I'm totally okay with ghosting this dude forever!!

Dude. Same experience with this guy that was super anti-social and I was basically his only friend too. After about 7 years of not seeing him, I thought "hey...I have a wife and kid now...why don't I swing by to say hi." so I drove to his parents place (where he was living) and I dropped by to say "Hey I'm back in Canada! How are you?" and basically he looked at me and was like "what do you want?" and I go "just got back to Canada and thought I'd say hi, bro :) and I said that's my kid right there" and pointed to my wife and he looked at my wife and kid and was like "yeah...I'm eating right now."
And I remembered why I cut off all that toxicity in the first place. Lol
Wow, what a D**K, lol. It's funny that you went by just to give him a chance, you got a big heart Vince. I'm grateful that in both our stories the people showed their true selves quickly
Damn @dnews... that guy sounds like a total a-hole. Good for you to give him a chance again after so many years - but even better for you to recognize the toxicity and decide to keep him out of your life.

What I find the craziest about your story is that you found a rude Canadian. That is like finding Big Foot. Scientists should be studying that guy
ooh the timing of this is very synchronistic! Good for you to give him a chance for a brief moment, and then quickly move away from the conversation when you realized it would be a toxic interaction. Sometimes people change... but sometimes they just don't. haha
Yeah it's unfortunate, but I'm grateful to notice how much I've changed you know. In the past I might have argued with him or been sad for him but now I know just to get away and trust that he's on his own journey

Regarding next week episode, I wonder how you could make it balance between work and enjoying your life. You look so cohesive with your sister either in work or in daily activity. Do you set your time based on schedule for every activity? Or what is your secret for your successful achievement in this case?

It was an exciting show. Thanks for picking my question for your show. It really is the best when we get the courage to push toxic people from our lives. How sad it is when they are family. I have a relative like that, he spreads nothing but poison when he is around.
Work and relationship, achieving a balance is most times difficult.
Assuming you are in a relationship and you have one of the most demanding jobs on the planet. Assuming you also love the relationship, how would you plan your time so your relationship does not suffer? Can you resign from your job for the sake of your relationship?

Very interesting! In life we eliminate toxic people from our lives, but for some reason it returns ... and we accept it, we give the benefit of the doubt, forgetting the past. Sometimes ... again and again. Thanks for sharing!
Oh! sorry for not commenting before I have been very busy working on some projects girls! thanks for answering my question,it seems like I always make the more awkward and personal questions haha. Actually that situation is pretty common, one of my friends went through it and that's why that question came up to my mind, but after I watched this I'm sure 99% of the times is the best friend hahaha!
