Your hosts are @coruscate and @maryjaney. We are two sisters using the Steem blockchain to chat about our life experiences and provide a little entertainment value to the Steemit Community.

Oohh yeah. We are talking all about how we use technology in our lives, how tech savvy we think we are, and how technology impacts our relationships.

What is the Steem Sister Show All About?
We aim to bring more “non-crypto” related content to the Steem Blockchain. Although there is nothing wrong with this kind of content (@corsucate even posts on crypto related material sometimes) – we want to help create a better onboarding experience for new users. We talk a lot about attracting new users to the platform – but if the trending page is filled with crypto posts and flagging wars, they are likely to lose interest quickly.
We hope that by creating content that is more similar to what they are used to seeing on other social media sites – they will feel more excited about being here and creating content of their own!
How Does It Work?
We pick a different topic every episode, and then throw totally random questions about that topic in a hat and go back and forth. We always have a mix of our own questions and some audience questions. Our rule is that we cannot tell each other our answers before filming! So you guys are getting our raw, unfiltered reactions here.
Every episode we announce the next week’s topic so people can submit questions.

This may seem like a pretty random topic... but our FOOD episode was the most popular yet, and so we thought doing an episode completely dedicated to dessert was in order. Also, we are going to be eating dessert while shooting this episode. I think we are doing this episode solely to have an excuse to shove our faces with dessert while we film.

One question: would you date a guy that does not have ANY digital profile? I dont use Whatsapp and it happens to me that people say you are the ONLY one i know who does not use Whatsapp on a daily basis. I wonder if i give them the creeps...? #stranger
Oh yeah, I would totally date someone who didn't have a digital profile. That doesn't matter to me so much. I guess it's kind of unusual though and on people usually like to "stalk" someone digitally before a date. haha I can see that.
I am always so interested by people who don't like dessert. haha I LOVE it so much that it's hard for me to comprehend!

My dad won't get off the computer when he's in his zone. I sometimes have to shake him to get his attention LOL but I love the tablet a lot too.
haha that sounds familiar! And yeah, tablets are awesome. It's so nice just lounge on the couch with my ipad. I hope it doesn't end up being too expensive to fix it. :(

Technology can help but can also disrupt what we plan when it fails. As a classroom teacher, it is very usual for us to use our laptop to present our lessons with powerpoint via the projector. It comes as a disruption to a beginning teacher's lesson when the projector is faulty. The whole lesson may go haywire because we are too dependent of technology. Just like we are earning and socialising via Steemit now.
One of the cheap favourite Asian desserts is called Ice Kachang. It is basically shaved ice with red beans and some other stuff. In this modern age, it comes with different flavors actually.
There so many weird dessert nowadays. Interestingly if you remove a letter 'S', the word becomes desert. Having a nice dessert with friends can strengthen our bonding. Some choose to be in the desert to isolate from the rest. A question for you- Which dessert you find it best to have especially when you are alone?

I also think technology has affected our way of living A LOT! in both positive and negative aspects. It's a double edged weapon where you can learn, make money, communicate with your friends from other countries, know more about culture, etc. But it also distracts you a lot and your social life decreases, some people also get addicted to it, so... in my opinion the best thing we can do is to have a balance!
